[Destiny 2] My loadout for the Garden of Salvation raid
A few things before I start:
- I understand that some YouTubers have done this, I don’t care.
- There is not a TON of variety between each loadout, but they do differ in some way. They also can be different depending on what role I am in during the raid.
First Encounter: Escape the Consecrated Mind
This is going to be the only encounter in which my weapon loadout varies between characters.
Warlock Weapons
Primary: Mountaintop/Long Shadow/Supremacy. This is the only character that does not use Izanagi for this encounter. I don’t use it on Warlock because I have an exotic slot used up by the World Line.
Secondary: Recluse/Last Hope. I need something that is good for ad clear in this slot. I enjoy using fast-firing weapons to do so. My Last Hope has Feeding Frenzy and Multi-kill clip.
Heavy: World Line Zero. I enjoy worldline skating on the Warlock in this encounter even though I am not that good at it. The first encounter isn’t too hard and doesn’t require a specific loadout to be completed.
Titan and Hunter weapons
Primary: Izanagi’s Burden. Good for killing the Cyclops and Minotaurs.
Secondary: Recluse/Last Hope. Ad clear.
Heavy: Wendigo GL3. Good for ad clear, killing cyclops and hydras. Auto-Loading Holster is the main reason I use this over Love and Death w/ Spike and Full Court.
Supers
Titan: Top Tree Sunbreaker. Good ad clear, not much else to say.
Warlock: Top Tree Dawnblade. Good for ad clear and worldline skating.
Hunter: Top Tree Nightstalker. Ad clear, and being able to go invisible is nice when a Cyclops is able to kill you with one shot.
Second Encounter: Draw out the Consecrated Mind
I hate this encounter.
Weapons
Primary: Izanagi’s Burden. I use this for the Barrier Hobgoblins in this encounter because it kills them with one honed edge shot. It also kills the Angelics (Hydras) in one shot.
Secondary: Recluse/Last Hope. Ad clear
Heavy: Wendigo GL3. Angelics.
Supers
Titan: Top Tree Sunbreaker. Good for killing the Angelics and the other ads that spaw with them.
Warlock: Bottom Tree Dawnblade. Blades go through Angelic shields.
Hunter: Bottom Tree Nightstalker. Kills Angelics nicely (notice a theme here?)
Encounter 3: Kill the Consecrated Mind
In this encounter, I use a little bit of variety depending on which role I am in.
Weapons
Primary: Izanagi’s Burden. FAT DPS, I don’t unequip it at this point.
Secondary: Recluse if I’m on gambit team, Python if I am on eyes.
Heavy: Wendigo GL3. Good burst DPS at when Consecrated Mind is close.
Supers
Supers in this encounter are DPS oriented
Titan: Top Tree Sentinel. Weapons of Light
Warlock: Middle Tree Dawnblade. Extra damage + Faster Reload
Hunter: Top Tree Nightstalker. Debuff, extra damage.
Encounter 4: Kill the Sanctified Mind
Literally, nothing changes from the previous encounter to this one.
Weapons
Primary: Izanagi’s Burden
Secondary: Recluse. When I’m clearing sides for motes I use Wendigo at first which procs master of arms for Recluse. With master of arms, the Recluse SHREDS.
Heavy: Wendigo GL3. Sick DPS, good ad clear, and I don’t have to worry about reloading.
Supers
Supers in this encounter are DPS oriented
Titan: Top Tree Sentinel. Weapons of Light
Warlock: Middle Tree Dawnblade. Extra damage + Faster Reload
Hunter: Top Tree Nightstalker. Debuff, extra damage.
Conclusion
These loadouts are not the most original and are fairly commonly used. I have 50ish clears in the Garden of Salvation raid and these are the loadouts that I have found to be the best.
