Destiny 2 How to do the Deep Stone Crypt. Part 1: Intro

When you spawn in the Deep Stone Crypt, you spawn at the top of the Eventide Ruins. If you drop from your starting position, you run into enemies. Clear these enemies to open a door in the building. When you go through this door, follow the path until you reach an airlock.

After this airlock, you enter a heat dome or a heat bubble. What this does is give you shelter from the storm. Whenever you exit this dome, you start accumulating a debuff called Frostbite. If you let your Frostbite reach x10 you are killed.

You need to drive your sparrow from heat bubble to heat bubble through a maze-like encounter. Be careful, there are Fallen web mines along the path that will slow you down.

Throughout this encounter, there will be enemies that try to kill you, nothing crazy, Dregs, Vandals, and Yellow Bar Captains. In the end, you will encounter two beefy yellow bar Brigs, kill these and go into the airlock.

After this airlock, it is a pretty straight forward path to the next encounter.

Secret Chest: Right before you hop down to the final heat bubble with the brigs you stop and look to the right, there will be a very obvious entry. Climb up there and follow the short path to the secret chest.

Cheese: If you hop on your sparrow in the first heat bubble and drive to the edge, line your sparrow up to where the heat bubble is to your left and the outside is to your right. Drive until you see frostbite on your screen, get off of your sparrow, when you get off of your sparrow you should be in the heat bubble. Wait until your Frostbite is gone, then get back on your sparrow without leaving the heat bubble. After that, you should have the heat bubble buff in the storm. The only way to lose this is to die or to enter the beginning heat bubble again.
